Your Next Green Smoothie

If you’ve been following my journey for a while now, then you may know that I used to be the co-founder of a cold-pressed juice and smoothie company (helllllo Mountain Squeeze!). I’ve tested, tasted and made more smoothies than you would ever know - so trust me when I tell you, this is your next green smoothie recipe when the craving hits! 

It’s completely packed with all of the greens you would ever want - spinach, kale, cucumber, celery, mint, parsley and more! I LOVE adding herbs to my smoothies - it’s a secret ingredient that adds a TON of flavour. 

When I’m in the kitchen, I’m always thinking about how to work smarter (not harder!) and making the process efficient, while producing the most food possible. Cue frozen smoothie packs! Smoothies can be one of those time-consuming things to make because it requires so many ingredients. This recipe yields 6 portions, so all you have to do is add the liquid - you can thank me later! 


RECIPE:

▫️1 bunch of kale (*split everything into 6 piles!)

▫️1 bag of spinach

▫️2 lemons, rind removed + cut into 6 pieces

▫️Thumb of ginger x6

▫️1 bunch of parsley

▫️1 bunch of mint

▫️3 bananas, cut in half 

▫️1 bag of frozen mango or pineapple → ½ cup in each pack

▫️1 tbsp hemp seeds

▫️Coconut water

Optional Add-ins: 1 Scoop of collagen, quality vanilla protein powder or 2 dates per bag. I also love adding a scoop of almond butter to this recipe!

Separate all of the ingredients into 6 piles and put into freezer friendly bags. Add 1 tbsp of hemp seeds and almond butter (if using!) per bag and place it in the freezer. When the smoothie craving hits, add 1 frozen pack to high-speed blender with coconut water & blend.
