From my own experience, I know how unprepared I was for the physical and emotional demands of postpartum recovery. It was overwhelming, exhausting, and unlike anything I had ever experienced!

I realized just how essential nourishing food is - not just for healing, but for energy (especially after many long, sleepless nights), balancing hormones, and supporting milk production. Having deeply nourishing meals ready can make all the difference in helping new parents feel stronger, more supported, and better equipped to navigate those early days.

THE POSTPARTUM MEAL PACKAGE

The postpartum package was designed intentionally to support the initial postpartum period and to nourish a mother back to health after birth. The focus is on warm, easily-digestible foods, as well as nourishing snacks to help curb hunger. Eating intentionally during this period can help replenish the energy and nutrient stores that were depleted during pregnancy and birth, supports milk production and helps to balance hormones.

Meal 1: Nourishing bone broth (chicken or vegetable-based)

Meal 2: Golden healing stew with carrots, sweet potato, mushrooms, red lentils, quinoa, ginger, turmeric & full-fat coconut milk

Meal 3: Chicken, red dates and ginger soup with carrots, celery & goji berries

Breakfast 1: Roasted red pepper & spinach egg cups with chicken zucchini breakfast patties made with flaxseed & fennel

Snack 1: G/F almond butter lactation brownies
